Within the base game, the Ghost Spin may activate randomly on any normal spin. The Ghost selects a royal or high-paying symbol which becomes a special expanding symbol in the round.
Once the expanding symbol is chosen, it can form winning combinations across non-adjacent reels.
Players can trigger the free spins feature by landing three or more scatters on any reel within the base game and be awarded an initial 10 spins. A choice of three random royal or high-paying symbols is then provided which will become the expanding symbol during the feature.
Scatters might turn into spectral scatters when free spins are triggered leading to awakened free spins instead.
Played similar to the free spins intro above, the ghost also chooses at random a second special expanding symbol in each round of awakened free spins.
