Gaming Realms has linked up with online casino content developer NetEnt to sign a multi-year agreement to licence the company’s ‘most popular slot of all time’.

Under the terms of the partnership, Gaming Realms will gain the rights to license NetEnt’s Starburst title to create a new game which is said to combine the firm’s Slingo grid mechanic and all the classic features from the original slot.

Mark Segal, chief financial officer of Gaming Realms, noted: “We’re thrilled to have secured the licensing rights to the Starburst brand, a legendary slot that has dominated the gaming industry for years.

“We’re confident that fans of Slingo and Starburst will enjoy our new collaboration, which will bring together the best features of both brands.”

The new game, Slingo Starburst, will be available worldwide and will be distributed to the online real money gaming market in 2021.
