Entain brands including bwin, Coral, Gala, Ladbrokes and PartyCasino will continue to use Scientific Games content aggregation platform until at least 2024 after the two companies agreed to extend their current deal.

Brands from Entain, the new name for the GVC Holdings group, will utilise the OpenGaming platform through to 2024, retaining access to a library of more than 3,000 games, alongside player features such as free rounds, missions and responsible gaming tools.

Valery Gelfman, Chief Product Officer at Entain, said of the extension: “Over a number of years, OpenGaming has been a key component of our online gaming offer, helping to establish it as  the world’s biggest and best casino portfolio.

“Extending our partnership with Scientific Games will enable us to continue to build our marketshare in regulated markets in Europe and beyond. We’re committed to OpenGaming and look forward to delivering even more exciting content to our ever-increasing player base.”

Scientific Games was instrumental in helping Entain brands relaunch into Germany, in preparation for the new regulations due later this year. The company will also continue to support the operator group as it seeks to grow further in regulated markets such as Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the UK.

Commenting on the news, Dylan Slaney, SVP Gaming – Digital, at Scientific Games, said: “Entain is a hugely important customer of ours and we’re delighted the group has entrusted OpenGaming for a further three years.

“We have an extensive roadmap of exciting new titles that Entain brands will receive over the coming months through our content aggregation platform. With the robust regulatory tools that are embedded within OpenGaming, we’re in the perfect position to provide valuable support for Entain as the group grows its reach within regulated markets.”
